[ARCHIVED] Service Changes to Routes 8, 5/6 & 3/15 Effective September 3rd


The following service changes will take effect Tuesday, September 3rd:

Route 8-The loop from Grandview, Sunkist, University and Michigan serving UWM at Waukesha and North High School will only operate in the current afternoon and 7/8 weekend direction meaning the routing for ALL trips the  routing will be from Summit and Grandview: north on Grandview Blvd., west on Easy St., north on Pleasant View, west on Sunkist Ave., south on University Dr., east on Michigan Ave., north on Green Meadow Dr. and east on Summit Ave.     

Due to this change, the bus stops in the current morning direction on the loop will no longer be served and will be eliminated on September 3rd.  In addition, the bus stops at Summit Ave. at Sylvan Ave. (north side) and Summit Ave. at Western Ave. (south side) are also being eliminated. 

Route 3/15-On Saturdays, the 7:15 pm trip leaving Meijer for the Transit Center will be eliminated.    

Route 5/6-On Sundays, the first outbound trip leaving from the Transit Center at 9:50 am to the Shoppes at Fox River will  operate on the Sentry Drive, Progress Ave, and Prairie Ave. loop which serves the St. Vincent de Paul store and other retail locations in that area.

The schedules effective September 3rd, 2019 for the routes affected are available by clicking on the link below.   New schedules will be available at the Transit Center effective August 12th for these routes as well.  A complete list of bus stops being eliminated on Route 8 are also available by clicking on the link below.
