The following positions are accepting applications for the summer seasonal recreation, park and aquatic positions listed below. Application is below and one needs to be filled out for each job you are applying. Apply early! Please note: most positions will be interviewing in March so please send in your applications soon!
Youth and Adult Sports
Toboggan Run Attendant: 18 yrs. & older
Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, 12:30-4:00. Additional hours for rentals/parties. Starting in December – February.
Youth Soccer League Officials: 14 yrs. & older
Must be available to work Saturday, starting at 9:00 am, early April through May and early September through October. Soccer knowledge is required.
Youth Soccer League Site Supervisor: 18 yrs. & older
Must be available to work Saturday, starting at 8:30 am, early April through May and early September through October. Soccer knowledge is required.
Saratoga Softball Supervisor: 21 yrs. & older; USA Umpire Certification Preferred.
Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 6:00-11:00 pm, May through August.
Saratoga Softball Scorekeepers: 16 yrs. & older
Games are played Monday-Friday, 6:15-10:30 pm, May through August. Scorekeepers will also need to announce games.
Buchner Sports Supervisor/Scorekeeper:
18 yrs. & olderMust be available to work Wednesday and Thursdays, 6:00-11:00 pm, May through August.
Baseball, T-Ball, Softball Recreation Coordinator: 18 yrs. & older
Supervise the Youth Baseball/Softball/T-Ball Games and Adult Softball while WPRF games are being played and is responsible for supervising officials/scorekeeper. This position will also support athletic and park rentals by relining diamonds and tending to facility and rental group needs.
Youth Baseball, Softball Officials: 14 yrs. & older
Training (May), games will start on June and be completed by the beginning of August. Knowledge of baseball and/or softball is required.
Adult Softball/Umpire Officials: 18 yrs. & older
Hours available Monday-Friday, late April through the beginning of October. Previous experience helpful.
Adult Basketball Officials: 18 yrs. & older
Hours available Wednesday evenings, January through March. Previous experience helpful.
Adult Touch Football Officials: 18 yrs. & older
Hours available Wednesday evenings, September through October. Previous experience helpful.
Volunteer Youth Coaches and Paid Youth Coaches: 18 yrs. & older
Looking for youth sports coaches in the sports of soccer, baseball, softball and T-ball. A background check is required and must be completed prior to a team being assigned. Soccer season will run from mid-March through the end of May and early September through October. The youth baseball, softball and T-ball will run from mid-May through the beginning of August.
Concession Workers: 18 yrs. & older
Must be available to work June-August. Cash handling experience preferred.

Work with children, weekdays, during before/afterschool hours, September-June.
Youth Development (Playground Leaders): 18 yrs. & older
Work with children in park setting, must be available to work weekdays, June-August.

Aquatics
Lifeguards, Swim Lesson Instructor: 16 yrs. & older
Must be available to work throughout the outdoor pool season, June-August. Lifeguards and Swim Instructors must be certified through the American Red Cross. Interested parties who are not certified but strong swimmer are encouraged to apply as WPRF is willing to train/certify.
Front Desk Attendants: 18 yrs. & older
Must be available to work throughout the outdoor pool season, June-August.
Concession Workers: 16 yrs. & older
Must be available to work June-August. Cash handling experience preferred.

Special Events
Special Event Assistants: 18 yrs & older
Assists in providing Community Special Events. Serves in a supervisory capacity for special events. Is responsible for the management of safety practices and ensuring the implementation of high-quality events.
Recreation Assistants: 18 yrs. & older
Working a variety of special events including Movies in the Park, JanBoree, concerts, and beer gardens. Must be available to work nights, Saturdays and Sundays, Hours vary according to event. Primarily Summer however additional hours available in the Fall/Winter.

Facility Attendants: 18 yrs. & older
Summer weekend attendants needed for buildings, park areas, and formal gardens.

Park and Facilities
Parks & Facilities Maintenance Workers: 18 yrs. & older
Maintenance workers needed weekdays, weekends, 1st & 2nd shifts. Athletic field prep, grass mowing & trimming, introductory forestry work, building maintenance with an emphasis on janitorial duties and painting, park maintenance, flower bed maintenance, building or parks/landscape maintenance experience preferred but not required

Specialty Positions
Youth Gymnastics Instructors/Assistants: 16 yrs. & older
Instructor/Assistants needed Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Knowledge of gymnastics/tumbling is required-WPRF will train.
Group Fitness Instructors (Substitutes): 18 yrs. & older
National Certification required. Substitutes needed for morning and evenings.
