Fire Prevention Bureau
In order to administer various proactive programs, the Fire Department has created an inspection and prevention bureau.

Lockbox Program
By having a lockbox on your commercial, industrial, or multi-family property, you ensure that the Fire Department has access to your occupancy 24 hours a day.

Public Education
Throughout the year, the City of Waukesha Firefighters stay busy providing station tours, lecturing on fire safety, and visiting schools.

Smoke Detector Program
In an effort to maintain a high level of customer service and safety, the Fire Department has come up with a smoke detector program to help alleviate the problem of people not having working smoke detectors.

Special Services Team (SST)
The City of Waukesha Fire Department Special Services Team consists of 36 members that are trained to perform in higher risk situations.
