Orange Hat Publishing is a family owned and operated press that values providing stellar services and building lasting relationships with their authors.

The office is in a historic building that was used by the Waukesha Freeman beginning in 1914 and was used by Theodora W. Youmans in the women’s suffrage movement. Orange Hat Publishing publishes local and national authors, representing diverse and compelling fiction and nonfiction.

Tour Information:

Self-guided tour of Waukesha's very own book publishing house! Meet the creative team of editors, artists, and writers.

Every hour on the hour: Children's story time and craft hosted by local authors and illustrators.

Every half hour: Workshops about writing for adult / young adult writers led by local authors.
