ROUND TWO: Waukesha Micro-Enterprise COVID-19 Response Grant

Due to remaining fund availability, the City of Waukesha is opening up  a second round Micro Enterprise COVID-19 Response Grants to assist small businesses located in the City of Waukesha that are owned by a person earning 80% of the County Median Income Level with five (5) or fewer Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Employees. This round of grant funds are focused on rent, mortgage and utility bill assistance to help micro-enterprises deal with the impacts of COVID 19. . This grant is funded with Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funds authorized under the 2020 CARES Act.

Please read the program eligibility requirements document below carefully as the requirements differ from our Waukesha Works Economic Recovery Grant program. Since this is funded with Federal CDBG-CV funds, the City of Waukesha must adhere to their regulations and does not have the ability to change any eligibility requirements.

Paper Application

If you would prefer you can print a paper copy of the application. Once completed, mail or drop off the signed application and copies of all supporting materials to:

Online Application

Please use the online grant application form below. Once you have submitted your application you will receive an email with a link where you will need to upload all of your supporting documentation including things like rent/mortgage statements, utility bills, invoices for materials/supplies, etc. The email will let you know exactly what forms you you need to upload.

Those who received funding in the first round of grant awards may also be eligible for additional grant funds.  The Community Development Department will be in contact with any previous recipients who are eligible.  Previous grant recipients do not need to submit a new application.
