This week the contractor was only able to work on restoration due to the weather. The culvert ends have now all been restored and most of the areas near the new curb and gutter and sidewalk.
Next week the contractor will finish all of the concrete curb and sidewalk. Also next week the City crew will be paving the cul-de-sacs. Here is the tentative schedule:
Monday – Yorkshire Ct and Turnberry Ct
Tuesday – Aberdeen Ct and Wellington Ct
Wednesday – Faringdon Ct and Dartmoor Ct
Thursday – Plymouth Ct
If this schedule changes through the week I will send a follow up email. Also beginning next week Thursday 9/17, the contractor will begin full depth milling on Rolling Ridge Dr and a 2” mill on Lancaster Dr and Devonshire Ct. The contractor’s grading crew is scheduled to start the fine grading on Friday 9/18 with the first layer of asphalt scheduled on Wednesday 9/23. I will send follow up emails as we get closer to these dates.
This year the resurfacing program is in the Rolling Ridge area of the City. The project will consist of sewer manhole and storm inlet repairs, curb and gutter repairs, upgrading handicap ramps to meet current ADA standards, milling and overlaying/paving with asphalt pavement.
Also included in this project is phase I of the flood mitigation improvements in this areas. this will include up-sizing the existing culvert crossings along Rolling Ridge Drive from Devonshire Ct. to University Drive.
