Hartwell Ave and Oxford Rd Improvements

Project Update: March 20, 2020

This week the City’s contractor made very good progress on the installation of the new watermain. The contractor was able to make the watermain connection at the intersection of E Newhall Road/Hartwell Avenue, Hartwell Avenue/Windsor Dr, and Hartwell Avenue/Oxford Rd. They are now progressing down Oxford Rd with the new watermain installation.

The watermain installation along Oxford Rd will continue all of next week, and partially into the following week. As the contractor is going, we are collecting safe water samples so when the contractor finished the watermain installation they can begin the new water services. Sanitary lining and cleanout installation will also continue along both Hartwell Avenue and Oxford Road.

Street Closings:

Hartwell Ave: Will be closed to through traffic from E. Newhall Ave to Wabash Ave.
Oxford Rd: Will be closed to through traffic from S. East Ave to S. Hartwell Ave.
