2017 West Waukesha Bypass (Meadowbrook Road) Reconstruction Project Update

This week the contractor continued work on the placing deep storm sewer pipes on the east side of Meadowbrook Rd., as well was, continued to form and pour concrete for the large storm sewer structure near Woodridge Ln. They also continued minor grading operations within Meadowview Park. The contractor is also planning to work on Saturday (9/16); continuing storm sewer placement, and excavation and base course placement for the new northbound lanes near Lancaster Dr.

Next week the contractor will be working on multiple activities within the project along Meadowbrook Rd., and within Meadowview Park. The will be continuing storm sewer placement along the east side of Meadowbrook Rd., construction of the large storm sewer structure near Woodridge Ln., excavation and base course placement for the new northbound lanes, and final grading operations within Meadowview Park. Activity within the work zone and Meadowview Park will increase over the next few weeks as multiple crews will be working on various activities within the project. Activity within Meadowview Park will also be increasing as the final grading/shaping of various bio-filtration basins is being completed, and the final construction of the bio-filters can begin. The current traffic control, and access closures along the City portion of Meadowbrook Rd. (150’ north of Northview Rd. to Rolling Ridge Dr.) will remain the same next week.
