Angie has worked for the City of Waukesha for 12 years. Her problem-solving, organizational skills, and customer-service expertise, has made her the point of contact to help make projects start on the right foot. Along with plan and permit review, the scope of Angie’s responsibilities vary and include Code Enforcement and special assignments.
Working as an integral part of the department’s support staff, Angie recently earned certification as a UDC Building Inspector. Her goal is to continue learning about this field by obtaining further certifications while she serves the public to the best of her ability. Prior to coming to the City of Waukesha, Angie gained knowledge by working for construction and manufacturing companies. She received valuable insights concerning the building field as well as learned the importance of teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Angie will say that one of the most interesting aspects of her job is to be able to view the plans of new developments that are entering in the city before anyone else does. She adds that she has come to realize the different levels of construction that most people are not aware of. Which are vital to making the project a success.
“Angie is relied on to handle the intake and processing of our most complicated projects," says Director Jennifer Andrews and adds that, “She is always attentive to detail and closely monitors projects to ensure efficiency and accuracy.” We’re excited to have Angie in our department, and look forward to seeing her grow in her career.
