Sale of Used 2004 Gillig Low Floor Buses


The Waukesha Transit Commission requests bids for the sale of two (2) thirty five (35) foot, 2004 Gillig Low Floor buses.  All vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder on "as is, where is" basis. The bids shall be of a sealed type and shall be accepted until 2:00 p.m. (Central) Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at which time they will be opened and reviewed. WTC reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. These buses can be inspected between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment only.  For complete details of the bid, please see the Sale of Used Bus Bid Document

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO OPERATE
WAUKESHA COUNTY TRANSIT ROUTES 901, 904 & 905

Proposals will be received by the City of Waukesha Metro Transit system at its office at 2311 Badger Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188-5932 until 11:00am on Thursday, February 23, 2017 for the purchase of service contract to provide Routes 901, 904, and 905 commuter transit service between Waukesha County, Wisconsin and Milwaukee County, Wisconsin beginning June 1, 2017. Routes 901, 904 and 905 will be considered together for an award and require 9 buses to operate plus spares. Route 901 operates weekdays Monday-Friday. Routes 904 and 905 operate weekday peak periods only. These routes will require accessible intercity type coaches.
The awards to be let under this solicitation are subject to a financial assistance contract between the City of Waukesha, the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The successful contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal regulations and will be required to certify that it is not ineligible for a federally assisted contract.

Proposals will be received by the City of Waukesha Metro Transit system at its office at 2311 Badger Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188-5932 until 11:00am on February 23, 2017 for the purchase of service contract to provide Route 906 commuter transit service between Mukwonago, Wisconsin and downtown Milwaukee County, Wisconsin beginning June 1, 2017. Route 906 requires 3 buses plus a spare and operates weekday peak periods only. This route will require accessible intercity type coaches.
